I just got this e-mail from Jersey Beauty Company -a little helpful reminder that as of the 1st January 2010 (Happy New Year everyone!!!!!!!) VAT is going back up to 17.5% after our year-ish(?) 2.5% reprieve with the rate reduced to 15%. This means that everything will have an extra 2.5% slapped on the price tag quicker than you can recover from the hangover of New Year's Eve... Now I won't bore you with my thoughts on how premature I think this is, or my view on contemporary politics which are less than beautiful(!) - I will simply pass on the information..!
So, for anyone interested in buying Dermalogica at really cheap prices before it gets landed with the extra 2.5%, get over to Jersey Beauty Company before the end of the month to avoid the price hikes! Why not stock up on everything before it gets a little more expensive?!
I am hoping that Santa brings me some cold hard cash, so I can get my shopping in before it's too late!
